Hymenocallis coronaria

The picture above was taken on the Flint River, in a very large secluded population. The picture to the left was taken on the Cahaba River, and got the cover of Molecular Ecology Notes.
The picture below was also taken on the Flint River, and is one of my favorites. The picture to the right was taken on the Flint River, next to a campground and canoe rental.
Blood Mountain Wilderness

The picture above is a trillium. The picture to the left is a pretty little lady slipper.
I don't know what this is on the right, need to look it up, but I like the picture.
This waterfall is probably only seen by a handful of people a year. It's way off trail on the south side of Blood Mountain. The temperature here is cool and moist in the summer, I like it here and will go back.
Yellow lady slipper this time, on the right. Below is a nice picture of Blood Mountain and the wilderness from the south end of the preserve.
Miscellaneous
The picture on the left was taken on the way to the mountains from Athens, GA. I think this maple is in the town square in Jefferson.
The picture on the right is of the Angel Oak outside of Charleston, SC. It is a magnificent specimen, absolutely huge. Can you see me standing next to it? The picture below is of the eastern front of the Sierra Nevada range, maybe near Bishop, CA.
